Cascade Inn and Restaurant

Clean newly renovated rooms! The only negative is they don't have microwaves or mini fridges, could have used a fridge wouldn't have used a microwave. The management/bartender was amazing and very welcoming. I would go back 10 out of 10 times. Highly recommended. One of the best non-chain establishments for the money I've stayed in in the Northeast

All the rooms there are remodeled. So our room was nice and clean. Only downfall was no fridge, but at least it was cold enough to keep are things cold. No microwave so we would have to use a friend at a different hotel microwave. No wash cloth. They only had hand towel and regular towel so I had to make due with the hand towel. Would i stay here again, absolute. As long as a place is clean everything else i could deal with

I don’t know how they did it, but Vlad and Eugene seem to have made a good thing even better. Same great food, family atmosphere and reasonable prices but with a fresh twist and new energy. Well done. We’ll be back soon.

All of lake placid booked on a Saturday night. Took a chance on this place 4 miles from downtown right near ski jumps. $80 a night here vs 400-1000 downtown. Us restaurant and bar. Who cares about the cabin like room. Priceless

This place will always hold a special place in my heart. We were frequent visitors back in the 70's and 80's with my dad. We always stayed in room 11. I remember the son had a yurt or some sort of dwelling that he had built himself in the back. I also remember the pool and eating lobster by the fireplace. I bring my family back to eat at the restaurant every year now. I never want to see this place go. It would gut me.

We ate here, did not stay. Dinner was excellent! Better food and better pricing than what we found downtown Lake Placid. And only about a 10 minute drive from downtown. Mountain views too. Service was great, our waitress was hilarious and friendly. My husband ordered the Saturday special all you can eat prime rib and loved every second. Entrees came with bread, soup, and salad. All delicious. We left full and happy!

We ate there two nights in a row, the food and service were excellent. We had surf & turf, veal gruyere and veal schnitzel, also some appetizers. All great with reasonable prices and the entree comes with soup, salad, and a side. We’ll definitely be back.

Excellent location, very near to everything we wanted to do as a family. Neat and clean rooms and a really good restaurant. Great variety on the menu, accommodating and friendly staff.
